good pain

(2)
right now, life just seem clearer
see the universe as a nice clean mirror
my soul might be the bright big dipper cuz
(my soul might be the whole night sky cuz)
stars realign when my third eye shimmer

bird's eye view, the other two stay travelin
move through milky way, followin the planets
then they double back, back to the earth's axis
then they backtrack through the lens of my glasses

see through the whack, see friends in the masses
see where i'm at, see the best of the asses
sometimes see an A+ when it's average
mistakes come and they love doin damage

and they gotta bring all the luggages and baggage
make you wanna think it is somethin everlastin
make you wanna think, but the memories are tragic
but my kinfolk give me energy and passion

everybody wanna sell you on that good pain
try to tell you that it's healthy and a good thing
but there ain't a such a thing as a good pain
and anybody tryna give it ain't a good thing

man i woke up feelin good in the mornin
clock stroke broke the crack of dawn with a yawn and
check the flip phone cuttin off the alarm and
see a missed call, ex-girl round 4-ish

huh, that's how i made this chorus
light a few trees see the leaves for the forest
mighta been sweet before we got started
but had to retreat before it got horrid

now when i'm on the street it start pourin
my feet keep a beat, police cannot walk it
negativity for me is long gone and
i keep-keep movin cuz me, i'm not dormant

no slee-sleep at all, i'm transforming
i mean my physique will soon be enormous
all cuz i could see and still notice
i gotta be free, cuz me? i'm still growin
